Capacity Building and Training

  • Integrated Water Resource Management

According to the United Nations Water Virtual Learning Center, capacity development includes much more than just transfer of technical skills; it also includes improving the capacities in various sectors such as academia, the private sector, the public sector, and the community. Further, this development of capacities and the education and training component must be done locally so that it is sustainable. Resources in this sub-theme include webinars on building capacity for watershed management, knowledge assessment surveys, reports on capacity building initiatives and other resources that provide information on capacity building for improved integrated water resource management.
