The Near East Bureau of the Agency for International Development requested the Water and Sanitation for Health Project (WASH) to identify and assess the organizations and institutions that offer high quality training and educational programs in the urban water supply and wastewater treatment sector to determine which organizations and institutions could provide the most effective educational services to the region. This handbook is the result of the Bureau's request and the intended user is the project planner and/or implementer.
