Evaluates project to develop aquaculture technology and promote fish production in the Dominican Republic. PES covers the period 2/82-12/82 and is based on an attached special evaluation (XD-AAN-991-A). Action decisions are to: determine whether the project should be continued for a second period from 2/83-7/84; authorize an additional $150,000 to cover second period costs; modify the budget to cover a shift in priorities from fish pond services to improved extension services, training, and increased fish production; and perform a final evaluation upon project completion in 9/84.
