This memo attempts to share the synoptic view of the proceedings of the seminar: "Opportunities for the Control of Dracunculosis," June 16-19, 1982. The seminar was planned to bring together scientists involved in research on the parasite the vector and their control and public health personnel active in control efforts in the field, in order to identify both places and means for effecting control of the disease.
