"Aquaculture" means the organized culture or cultivation of useful aquatic animals and plants in enclosed water bodies. In Nepal, at present aquaculture is limited only to the cultivation of fish. This paper deals with what has been done in Nepal for fish culture and fisheries development as well as what can be done in Nepal for further research and development of fisheries.
