The purpose of this document is to serve as a progress report for the Egypt Water Use and Management Project, September 1980. The major problems affecting irrigated agriculture in Egypt have been identified and much research has been accomplished. Implementation of meaningful solutions to major problems in order to improve the social-economic conditions of the small farmer is the objective.
