National Aeronautics and Space Administration
The purpose of the solicitation is to use remote sensing data with hydro - meteorological models to provide important seasonal forecasts (30-180 days) for improved water management. The NASA Water Resources Solicitation overall goal is towards providing innovative and practical applied research using NASA satellites and related modeling for improved decision-making for societal benefit. Notices of Intent to propose are requested by January 15 with proposals due by April 30, 2014. Anticipated number of projects awarded is 5-10 over 4-years with an annual budget of $275K - $550K.
