In this working paper WRI employs a weighted aggregation methodology that brings Aqueduct's granular sub basin-level information up to the country and river basin scale, generating global rankings of water-quantity-related risks for all users, as well as sector-specific rankings for agricultural, municipal, and industrial water users.
