The purpose of this study is to assess the populations of fish and shrimp larvae of commercial importance in the mangroves of Chemo, Province of Panama, and Aguadulce, Province of Cocle, and to determine the effect of human activity on mangroves as nursery areas for larvae and juveniles of aquatic species.
