The purpose of the workshop was to repeat and enhance the presentation made in Chile by introducing a more comprehensive and systematic approach to the management of wastewater programs than has been the usual practice in the region. The workshop was based on the concepts developed by WASH of a comprehensive framework for wastewater management, and on adult training methods.
