Lake Tanganyika Floating Health Clinic
LTFHC/WAVE Special Report No. 2 reports on the organization's trip to the southern part of South Kivu (DR Congo) in October 2014, where the team conducted eleven epidemiologic and technical surveys. Data was collected from Uvira and Nundu Health Zones in the Tanganyika District. Analysis of data from this trip indicates the high rate of under-five deaths is largely a result of malnutrition/food insecurity and WASH issues.
