The purpose of this project was to assist the Ministry of Agriculture in its efforts to create a viable system for the improved harvesting, handling/storage and marketing of fish. At the same time, the project provided assistance toward strengthening the institutional capacity of the Fisheries Service of the MOA and to support or augment private sector initiatives in the fishing industry.
