This study analyzes the effectiveness of mole drains in leaching heavy soils. Optimum crop production requires a favorable soil environment in the plant root zone. To accomplish this condition, adequate levels of moisture, fertility, temperature, and salt balance must be maintained in the soil by means of appropriate drainage practices.
