The Project Preparation Department (PPD )is a component of the Ministry of Public Works and Water Resources' (MPWWR) Irrigation Management Systems Project. The main objectives are to provide quality technical and economic feasibility studies which analyze investment options open to MPWWR and to prepare reports in English for submission to international donors. The PPD workshop was held in Port Said at the Helnan Hotel from November 12-15, 1992. The objective was to review and discuss the current status of the project and major issues facing it, reaching agreement on how to manage the issues.
