The use of sprinklers to apply irrigation water is a popular irrigation practice. Interest in using sprinkler irrigation systems continue to grow as the efficient use of water becomes important for profitable crop production. An efficient irrigation system must be capable of applying the water where and when it is needed in order to maximize crop yield and quality.
