This course is designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of the principles of geochemistry, as understanding the geochemical aspects is an important step in completing a successful site assessment or remediation project. While many people have a solid understanding of hydrological processes, the chemical aspects of the site that largely impact contaminant fate and transport, and determine the outcome of the remediation effort, are not as commonly understood or appreciated.
