This assignment entailed assisting the ID in drawing up proposals and estimates for structural improvements, design of cost effective techniques and hydraulic structures, assisting the ID in quality control and supervision of construction, development of the methodology for assessment and scheduling of maintenance needs, drawing up of an action plan for improving systems operations, design of water measuring devices, and carrying out operation surveys and identification of the location and type of control and measuring devices for effective regulation and monitoring of canal deliveries.
