Plan have been initiated in conceptualizing and organizing a multidimensional information network among universities involved in AID programs. A week long watershed-management short course was held to serve as a base for the development of a set of materials which can be civilized in LDCs as teaching aids on management of small watersheds. Areas in which the knowledge base is being expanded are procedures for predicting available water supply and flood-producing events for optimal return, techniques for augmenting surface water supplies and methods for preventing deterioration of watersheds.
