The Aquaculture Department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center(SEAFDEC/AQD) was established in 1973 to: 1) Promote and undertake aquaculture research relevant and appropriate for Southeast Asia; 2)Develop human resources for aquaculture development in the region; and 3)Disseminate and exchange aquaculture Information SEAFDEC/AQD has since contributed significantly to the development of aquaculture in the region, and will continue to respond to the challenges of the industry. This Report chronicles the accomplishments of SEAFDEC/AQD in 1992 and 1993.
