Overseas Private Investment Corporation
OPIC provided financing and political risk insurance to support the construction of a 202-mile water pipeline, built by Disi Water, in Jordan - one of the most water-scarce countries in the world. Completed in 2014, Disi Water is providing dependable water to the people of Amman and has capacity to transport 100 million cubic meters of water a year.
