In this video, we can see about the Solar Powered Multiple uses water services that provide sufficient water for domestic use and high value crops using micro irrigation technologies. Such solar-powered systems are designed when the spring sources are located below the community and there is no electric grid. iDE Nepal, in a pioneering effort, successfully oversaw the installation of six solar-powered water delivery systems. This project, in support of SAPPROS, relied on the financial support of Renewable World (RW) as well as other donors and partners. This video was made by Bimala Rai Colavito (a volunteer at iDE).
