The Pond Dynamics/Aquaculture CRSP has been conducting a series of experiments in pond systems around the world since 1982. The first cycle of experiments evaluated pond dynamics under low nutrient input rates during wet and dry seasons. The second cycle of experiments evaluated pond dynamics processes under organic versus inorganic fertilization regimes during wet and dry seasons. The third cycle of CRSPexperiments was designed to expand the quantitative baselines initiated during the first two cycles and to determine the level or organic fertilization that would produce optimum fish yields. This report covers the third cycle of experiments conducted in Thailand.
