The purpose of this start-up report is to outline the approach to meeting the requirement of Tasks g. 5 (i), (ii), and (iii) of the USAID Contract No. 263-0182-C-8041-00 dated 23rd February, 1988. The main focus of these tasks are to improve the O&M of water systems in Egyptian villages including the reduction of water losses.
