This project is an incremental step in addressing the overall agriculture sector goal of helping Zaire become self-sufficient in basic foodstuffs. This project is designed to increase the availability and improve the quality of fish caught and sold in eastern Zaire, while simultaneously providing more rural employment opportunities in that area.
