Aquaculture is becoming increasingly important in developing countries as a means of providing increased quantities of the protein needed for more adequate diets and as an important contribution to economic growth. This Grant is being utilized by Auburn University to strengthen its research, teaching, extension and other service capabilities in aquaculture.
