This is an evaluation report for a fisheries development project. The purpose of this evaluation was to review the project after the first year of implementation and to determine what revisions in the project design, level of funding, nature and amount of technical assistance, and other components should be made based on experience to-date. The two goals of the projects are to develop the fisheries sector as a source of revenue for the national economy and to promote the welfare of traditional (artisanal) fisherman.
