This report describes USAID assistance to small scale fisheries in Indonesia. It identifies constrains and assets for fisheries development. The report evaluates six projects which include, (1) artisan fisheries management (2) floating fish cage tests (3) ice plant at Meringgai (4) macrobrachium culture (5) Tambak development in north central Java and (6) rice field fish culture.
