Fish production is Viet Nam is currently quite high, but most consumption occurs along the coasts due to poor roads and the inability to transport fish in a hygienic manner. Thus, increasing the availability of high quality protein may be achievable by increasing fishing in lakes and ponds. To attain such productions extensive experimentation and testing is required.
